All of our products are hand made by gifted artisans in a small workshop. Hand-cast using natural crushed marble bonded with high-grade polyresin, each piece is then individually perfected and hand-finished with exquisite craftsmanship. All coloured statues are hand painted. Each piece is unique, so there may be slight variations in size, color, patina and texture.

Your handmade piece is packed carefully with foam in elegant thick boxes for the shipping, making it the ideal gift placed in stylish boxes while at the same time ensuring the safe delivery of your products. Athena 
 
Athena, daughter of Zeus, is a Greek goddess associated with both warfare and wisdom as well as crafts, courage, protection, civilization, law and justice, battle strategy, mathematics, strength, the arts, and skill. Known for protecting civilized life, she was the protector or a patron of major cities such as Athens. Identified later by the Romans with Minerva,  Athena played a crucial role in numerous Greek myths as a protector, guide and advisor of demi-gods and mortal heroes. Objects associated with the goddess include an owl - symbol of wisdom - and the olive tree - symbol of peace. The warrior goddess is often depicted in art with armour, a golden helmet, a shield, and holding a spear.
 
This Statue 
 
Athena was frequently represented in works of Greek and Roman art. This statue depicts the Greek Goddess Athena wearing a helmet of Corinthian type, dressed in peplos with snake figures on,  holding a spear in her hand and carrying a shield with olive tree leaves  and an owl carved on it. The helmet refers to her role as the goddess of war; specifically pertaining to fighting for law and order, while the owl represents wisdom and the snake represents prudence.
